Entre lo mejor del año se encuentran títulos como: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Horizon Zero Dawn, Cuphead, entre otros.
A pesar de que el año nuevo haya comenzado, aún hay tiempo para premiar a los mejores lanzamientos de la industria en 2017. Así lo consideran los organizadores de Game Developers Choice Awards, quienes ya mostraron públicamente la lista de nominados. El evento se celebrará el 21 de marzo a las 8:30 p. m. (Horario del Centro de México), desde la ciudad portuaria de San Francisco.
Entre la lista de seleccionados, destacan importantes entregas como: Cuphead, Nier: Automata, Horizon: Zero Dawn o The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Recordemos que éste último ganó varias categorías en The Game Awards 2017, así que es probable que repita tal hazaña en este evento.
Los juegos nominados en los Game Developers Choice Awards, son elegidos por un conjunto de desarrolladores miembros de la International Choice Awards Network (ICAN). Tal organismo incluye nuevos miembros únicamente por invitación, además de renovarlos periódicamente.
Otro dato importante, es que la selección y votación la efectúan solamente los individuos pertenecientes a la ICAN. Aparte, los miembros del jurado no pueden nominar un título en el que hayan participado. Sin más que añadir, a continuación les presentamos la lista de las categorías y sus respectivos contendientes.
